Saâd Chraïbi studied medicine in Casablanca. In the 1970s, he became a member of the National Federation of Film Clubs of Morocco. In 1976, he participated in the collective film Cinders of the Vineyard. In 1990 he released his first feature film, Chronicle of a Normal Life. In 1998, Chraïbi started his trilogy devoted to Moroccan women. In December 2015, he was a jury member of the short film competition at 15th Marrakech International Film Festival.
